Now that spring has sprung, it’s time to get back outside! Here are some events coming up to get you out and about in Franklin this May.

    5/6 – Franklin Art Scene

On the first Friday of May, Franklin hosts their monthly art crawl. Join your Franklin neighbors in wandering around downtown and enjoying the local art we have here.

    5/7 – Main Street Brewfest

The Downtown Franklin Association hosts their beer tasting on the streets of downtown Franklin. There will be live music, food trucks, and lots of beer. If you have young ones, bring a buddy. The drinking area requires a ticket, but the rest of the fest is open and free to anyone.

5/14 – Franklin Hot Air Balloon Festival

Spend an afternoon watching Hot Air Balloons take to the sky during Franklin’s Hot Air Balloon Festival. There will be a kid zone, live music, craft vendors, and more. At dusk, the balloons will light up for the balloon glow.

    5/15 – Vintage Baseball

Did you know that Franklin has a vintage baseball team? On May 15th, you can see what vintage baseball is all about. There will be two games: one at 12 noon and the other at 2:30 P.M. Our team and others will take to the field in uniforms like those worn in the 1860‘s, with rules to match!

    5/15 – Carrie’s Crawfish Boil

If you get hungry watching vintage baseball head over to Carrie’s Crawfish Boil. In this inaugural event to support the Battle of Franklin Trust, there will be yard games and live music, and you’ll get to enjoy a crawfish plate with sausage, corn, potatoes, and dessert.

    5/18-21 – Franklin Rodeo

The Franklin Rodeo kicks off on Wednesday, May 18th, with a party. Food trucks, music, line dancing, and more get us ready for the weekend. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night, bull riders, steer wrestlers, bronc riders, and more will show their skills at the Williamson County Agricultural Expo. Saturday during the day, the rodeo parade will hit Main Street.
