    Franklin, Tennessee

Have friends and family coming to town and don’t have enough room for them to stay with you? I’ve found some of the most awesome vacation rentals around Franklin and Nashville that they can stay at.

    Shelter and Roost Properties

When I first moved here, I stumbled upon Shelter and Roost properties. At the time, they had around four properties, and now they have six (soon to be seven) different places around the Franklin area that they have made little paradises. With names like Jefferson House and Nest in the Woods, I just wish I were visiting so I could splurge on staying in these gorgeous rental spaces. The owners also run a little boutique in the Leiper’s Fork area. So local, so Franklin, recommend it to all your friends!

    Moonshine Hill Inn

Located in Leiper’s Fork, Moonshine Hill Inn is available to rent, quite like the Shelter and Roost properties. Moonshine Hill Inn is pet friendly, rustic, and cozy as a cabin. It has a full treehouse on the 21-acre property. It even has over 200 movies to choose from if you want to stay in for the night instead of going out.

    McGavock Manor

McGavock Manor is another rental space that is run by boutique owners. This awesome house is in east Nashville. Adorable pictures of their rooms have been popping up in my Instagram feed, and it’s perfect for your trendy, hipster friends who want the east Nashville experience. It’s tailor-made for the musicians, the artists, and the boho-loving visitors in your life.

    Urban Cowboy

Urban Cowboy isn’t a rental, but it is an experience. Set up as a BNB, each room has a different design that matches its name. It has eight rooms and two communal parlors, so guests can get to know one another if they wish. Urban Cowboy originally began in Brooklyn, New York, but the owners came down south and found a house that fit their needs. Now Nashville also has a place with eccentric country chic design to call its own.
