New Year’s Eve is fast approaching! Do you know what your plans are? Franklin has a some great events up its sleeve. You’ll find a variety of party offerings on Main in downtown Franklin.
Grey’s has three different options to choose from. You can stay on the ground floor, eat your fill with a four course meal and champagne, or you can head upstairs for live music and appetizers, a drink ticket and a champagne toast. If either/or choices and being limited on NYE isn’t your thing, you can buy a ticket for access to both. For reservations, call (615) 435-3603.
The Franklin Theatre is hosting a “swinging” event. The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra will be playing two shows: one for the early bird crowd looking to get a celebration in but also get in bed before the clock strikes midnight, and a late night countdown. Both parties will feature big band music and dancing, and the later event will have party favors and a champagne toast! Tickets are available at the box office.
Cork and Cow is also in on the celebration. They will have a special menu with seating at 5, 7, 9 and 11 p.m. For reservations call (615) 538-6021.
Franklin is far from the only place in the area ringing in the New Year! If you don’t mind traveling a little further, (do so responsibly please, Uber, Lyft, and designated drivers are our friends!), Nashville has a wide array of parties to choose from. You can walk lower Broadway for Bash on Broadway for free. You’ll join the masses for Kings of Leon, Chris Stapleton, and fireworks as the clock strikes twelve. The bars of Broadway will also be hosting some of their own parties for a price. Last year, I found myself on the third floor of Tootsie’s from 7 p.m. until 1 a.m. right by the band. I had a great time, and it blew my mind to see pictures of how packed the streets had been while I danced the night away inside with my friends.
Whether you decide to stay close to home or go adventuring, there are wonderful options still available for bringing in 2016!
