Green Hills is a fantastic area of Nashville, located south of downtown on Hillsboro Road. Though there were preliminary plans toward making Green Hills an incorporated town, they were never completed.
Green Hills is one of Nashville’s more affluent areas, often chosen by people who don’t wish a long commute to downtown businesses or area universities. Such as, Vanderbilt, Belmont and Lipscomb Universities.
You can find almost everything you would need within walking distance in the Green Hills neighborhood.
The Mall at Green Hills. is well known for it’s high-end shopping scene. It contains over 100 stores and two floors totaling 868,000 square feet.
Early important businesses located in Green Hills, include Green Hills Market, Green Hills Theater and The Bluebird Café famous for live music. All these places are still open for business. If you are in need of anything else, the Hillsboro Village is only minutes away.
